Tera Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd (TERA) together with its principal Tera Digital Publishing (TDP) put up a booth at IFRA Newsroom Summit Area which was held in Istana Hotel, KL on 8-9 July 2009.

TDP's Worldwide Marketing Manager, Mr John Vincent Juliano presented his view on Newsroom and Content Management.

From Tera, we had a strong team comprising our Hamdan (GM), Bernard (Technical Consultant) and Pow Chwee Meng (Business Development) to man the booth.

We managed to gather a few leads for potential customers at this even.  Let's try to convert them to sure deals.

Continuous Network Advisers Sdn Bhd (CNA) and 3Com Malaysia jointly held a seminar on 1 July 2009 at the Gardens Hotel, KL.

The seminar focused on 3Com's end-to-end solutions which included products of 3Com / H3C and Tipping Point.  3Com / H3C main products are LAN, WAN and wireless based solutions ranging for SMBs to Enterprise class businesses.  Tipping Point is an IPS device that is inserted seamlessly and transparently into the network.

We had more than fifty people at the seminar.  We had two interesting speakers: Mr Orcun Tezel (Technical Director, 3Com / H3C Asia Pacific) and Mr Tony Teo (SE Manager South Asia) who presented the solutions, benefits and direction of 3Com.

We also want to thank Originix Sdn Bhd and MTech Sdn Bhd who assisted in the setting up of the demo equipment.

Formis Network Services Sdn Bhd or better known as FNS held its first ever family day at D'Ark Training & Resort (www.darkresort.com) in Janda Baik, Bentong Pahang on 27 June 2009. It was a great Saturday for all of FNS staff to picnic together with families. Great games & activities were lined up for all. Kids were having fun running here and there, swimming in the cold and shallow stream of Janda Baik. It was great to see everyone having fun. It was such a great success that management may be thinking of having it annually!
