24^th November 2007 – FORMIS BASS Software signed an agreement with National Securities Incorporation (NSI), a Vietnamese stock broking house in Hanoi to computerize its trading management operations.

Implementing eBETS ( Electronic Online Trading System ) and eBOS ( Electronic Back Office System ) to automate and streamline NSI's trading processes marks FORMIS BASS’ first successful foray into Vietnam.   This online trading system project is due for completion by the first quarter of 2008.

FORMIS BASS is partnering Tinhvan Technologies JSC (TVE), a Hanoi based technology group, to provide local market intelligence and facilitate communications difference by providing translation and technical support.

We had great Raya Open Office at FNS recently, we  had lots of kuih raya contribution from the staffs & home cooked nasi beriani. Thank you to all the invited Guests for coming to our open office though few who did not make it due to some miscommunication. Perhaps we meet again next year....hopefully! 

BTW we are also celebrating our GM 50th Birthday...HAPPPY BIRTHDAY Boss, hoping life will be more merrier at 50!

7th November - First Solution (FSSB) and IBM Global Technology Services (IBM GTS) held a Hari Raya Open House event in Borneo Rainforest Cafe@ Sunway for our Public Sector and SMB partners and end users.

We just realised that it wasn't easy to find a non enclosed venue near Putrajaya to hold a semi formal function such as this.

We are glad that we had the opportunity to meet guests outside our normal circle of channel partners.

Another major milestone in Formis Network Services business pursuit is when we are appointed as HP(www.hp.com) 1st Tier Business Partner recently.

 FNS is now known as HP 1^st tier business partner for Commercial   Products (PC, Workstation & Notebook)  and 2^nd tier business partner for Enterprise products (Intel Servers, Storage & Backup Devices).

It is hope that this partnering will continue to prosper and succeed

The Board of Directors of FRB has approved the appointment of En Ahmad bin Khalid as an independent non-executive director of FRB with effect from 1/11/2007. En Ahmad is also appointed as a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Remuneration Committee on the same date.
