Formis Computer Services(FCS) successfully organized a bowling competition at Ampang Super Bowl, Berjaya Times Square on 13 July 2007 at 7.00 p.m. A total of 25 staff participated in the friendly competition aimed at fostering closer working relationship among all levels of staff in the various departments in FCS. Based on the response and the hive of excitement during the competition we believe we have achieved our objectives.

The group of 25 staff was randomly picked to form 5 teams aptly called, Solaris, Vista, Virtual, Integrator and Infinite. After 2 hours of grueling competition, the Infinite Team comprising of Mohd Fairuz,  SM Liew, Poh Yin, Victor Wan and Hang Mohd Zahed (Event Organiser) became the eventual winner by a narrow margin. After the team competition, the top 4 bowlers competed in the individual championship, which was won by Mohd Fairuz.

After the bowling competition, we adjourned to Kenny Rogers but had only 1 bird for 25 people :(  so we changed our direction to KFC for a finger licking good time followed by the prize presentation.

Overall, it was a good outing for the FCS team as everyone had a very good time with laughter and high competitive feeling towards the game all in the true spirit of TEAM FORMIS. Looking forward to the next team outing.

IBM POWER 6 Technology was launched. The audience get to learn the latest POWER 6 technology and win great prizes during lucky draw session . FSSB sponsored a unit of PlayStation 3 on best slogan submitted during the earlier Leadership Virtualization session Held on the 6th of June.

Formis Computer Services (FCS) won HP’s “Best Channel Contract” category during the HP Channel Partners Appreciation Day held on 1 June 2007. This award is in recognition of FCS’ achievement in signing some significant value maintenance contracts with HP.

Congratulations to the FCS team who made this achievement possible!

Mr. Wong Wai Wah, FCS’s Sr. Business Manager and Mr. Chong Kam Fook, FCS's Technical Support Manager represented FCS in this appreciation function. In the afternoon, a team building event was organised at the park nearby. The 35 participants comprising HP’s partners and staff participated actively in all the events in the spirit of cooperation and goodwill.

With the recent awarded contract of  "Membekal, menghantar, memasang, menguji, mentauliah dan menyelenggara komputer, pencetak dan perisian komputer secara sewaan " for 3 years to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN)http://www.hasilnet.org.my   worth about RM46.4 million, a contract signing ceremony was held at LHDN's office on 18 June 2007.   

LHDN was represented by Dr. Mohd Shukor bin Hj. Mahfar the Deputy Director General (Operation) and  Datin Noorhayati binti Ismail the Pengarah Jabatan Pentadbiran  while Formis Network Services Sdn Bhd (FNS) was represented by our Managing Director Rudi Nazaruddin and Assistant General Manager Mohd Maarof Abdul Vaheed. 

Let's hope that this project will deliver successfully and together LHDN and FNS will be more prosperous in the years ahead.
